Designer Impression Series

Recently, a new series has come forth. Within the past few months, bursts of color have emerged on the canvas creating intertwining spheres of intrigue. Shapes with direction guide my brush to places I have never gone before. The movement and fluidity seem to have a direction beyond my intended brushstrokes. My need to express becomes all-consuming and I begin to live and breathe in order to give these images life within the paint and canvas. Being a figurative painter most of my life has refined my eye and mind to meld colors, shadows, and light in order to satisfy the paints expression. I feel this is only the beginning of this series...
