Classical Series

All of the pieces I have chosen to recreate have called to me in some sense. Each one has filled a special need and presented new challenges in which to enrich my own understanding of their respective genres. During the painting process I felt a deep connection with each of the artists as I meticulously studied their work. Identifying and developing upon the personality within each painting and the techniques of these great masters has given me a greater realization of what it is to be an artist. I keep these paintings close to my heart as all are displayed in my own home.
